The Mission Naruto reader insert

You watched the group from your hiding spot amused as the blonde threw shuriken at the trees

"I…uh guess it was a mouse" the blonde said

"WHAT MOUSE? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND? THETR WAS NOTHING THERE, YOU MORON!"

"Please...please don't play around with your shuriken. They can be just a teensy bit dangerous."

"Hey! Midget!! Don't go scaring us! Stop messing with our heads!"

You watched Haku's pet hop into the bushes making it rustle below you

"This time! Over there!" The same blonde threw another shuriken into the bushes making you reach your katana

They may have suspected you or hurt the rabbit

"Calm down. Not yet" Zabuza whispered

"I TOLD YOU TO QUIT IT!"

(SMACK)

"Owwww!!"

You chuckled where these people really the same that defeated the demon brothers? They seem so...ridiculous. You would've thought they would've given the bridge builder better protection. The only one that seems useful is the masked shinobi. 

"I SWEAR-- THERE WAS SOMEONE IN THERE! AFTER US!"

"YOU ARE SUCH A LIAR."

You and Zabuza watched the masked shinobi near the tree you where in looking down you noticed why. Haku's rabbit was left traumatized.

Your grip on your katana tightened. Zabuza saw your aura darken. He put a hand on your shoulder making you stiffen at the contact.  You look at him

"Calm down." He whispered sternly. You nod and continue to look at them

" NARUTO! LOOK WHAT YOU DID!" the pinkette yelled at the blonde who was hugging the rabbit

"Just a rabbit!?" The bridge builder said surprised

" (Y/n)."

You look at Zabuza

"It's time. Keep your guard up and stay hidden"

You nod and turn to look at Haku, who's hidden a few trees away. He nods as well letting you know he's ready 

Zabuza gets up from his crouching position cracks his neck and pulls out his sword moving it back he throws his sword at them

"EVERYONE TAKE COVER!!"

The group dodges the sword just in time as it hit the tree with a thunk. Just as it did Zabuza already landed on its hilt.
